MinistriesThis is where our members put their hand to the plow and do the work of ministry. This also provides excellent ways to get involved with various ministries within the body. Get Involved in a Ministry
FCC offers a range of children’s ministries including a nursery, Sunday school, a youth choir and an Awana program. The majority of young children in our church are actively involved in our worship services and classes as well.
The College and Career Group is a fellowship group that meets every other Tuesday at 6:30 pm. We worship, study, pray and fellowship together. If you are interested in joining the group, please contact Cody Hamilton.
The Youth Ministry at FCC assists parents by helping teach their youth to see the greatness of our God! We desire to see our boys and girls become the young men and women that God is calling them to be.
The Women’s Ministry at Faith Community Church believes that God is glorified in the church when women use the gifts He has given to them for the building up of the body (I Cor. 12:7, Romans 12:6) in submission to biblical design. The Women’s Ministry exists as a means to provide every woman in the church with an opportunity to use her gifts in service to others. We believe that mature, godly women find joy in serving alongside others, rather than in waiting to be served by others (Phil 2:4). To get involved or for more information, please contact our church office.
Our Men’s Ministry at FCC emphasizes in discipleship, accountability and fellowship. There are small gatherings of men meeting around the city for coffee and breakfast different days of the week. We also offer a Men’s Breakfast for all of the men in our congregation and a Men’s Retreat where we enjoy teaching, praying, activities, and fellowship together. For more information, please contact our church office.
The music ministry at Faith Community Church exists to make glorious the praise of God in Christ. We aim at excellence, skill, and depth in musical expression, but more importantly we aim at genuinely engaging in truthful, spiritual worship of God. This is what the apostle means when he speaks of “making melody to the Lord with your heart” (Ephesians 5:19). We do not aim at a particular style of music; rather, we desire to sing songs that are true, beautiful, and congregationally appropriate, and to use the musical gifts God has given us to make these songs our own. In addition, we desire to equip the people of God to worship more fully and richly through teaching and providing resources on the subjects of worship and music.
