Deacons
We believe that God has ordained the office of deacon to oversee the ministry of the physical needs of the body and the day to day operations of the church. We believe they are to serve as co-laborers with the elders in the work of the ministry and be gifted in such a manner as to provide wisdom and mercy in attending to the ministry of the needs of the flock. We believe that these men must meet the qualifications of the office as set forth in Scripture. The deacons shall consist of members possessing the qualifications described in Titus.

Brian Rawlings Brian and Susan Rawlings have been married for 33 years. Brian was saved in 1981 and his life was changed immediately. Although he had attended church and Sunday school diligently while growing up, Brian did not fully receive Jesus until he was called in 1981. He and Susan attended different churches for a number of years; however, they did not feel they were being fed. In the early 1990’s their search led them to a church where Pastor Fred Juhnke was preaching. They immediately felt at home and began attending regularly. Brian began to understand what they had been missing from God’s Word. When Faith Community Church was formed, Brian and Susan became charter members. They have grown in the Word and continue to grow every day under Pastor Tim’s teaching and preaching, and from other teachers at FCC. Brian began ushering and Susan started making the coffee every Sunday in the early months at FCC. For the past 10 years Brian has overseen the usher ministry that’s so vital to FCC. |
