Women’s Ministry
The mission of the Women’s Ministry is to promote godliness in our everyday lives and encourage fellowship in the Body of Christ; that we may be walking worthy of our calling. Titus 2 says, “Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled.” Our purpose to live out this scripture passage and while doing it, love one another, pray for another, and fellowship with one another.

Ladies Ministry Coordinator – Marilyn Inman Marilyn Inman was born and raised in the Northland, blessed with a loving Christian home. She accepted Christ as a young girl and slowly grew in understanding and faith over many years. Today, her faith is solidly grounded in the finished work of Christ. She is a graduate of Park University with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration. She has been married to Glenn for 33 years and they have two married sons. Marilyn took an early retirement offer from Southwestern Bell in 2001 and now spends much of her free time gardening as well as helping family and friends. Marilyn also served as the Rachel House Northland Director 2007-2009. She is excited to serve the Lord in this new capacity as FCC Women’s Ministry Coordinator. She asks for your prayers and support as she learns her new role. Marilyn explained that her goals are to provide a single point of contact for women’s ministry issues, to provide continuity and added structure. As we serve one another, may we become Titus 2 women, full of grace and Godliness in all matters. If she has not met you yet, she looks forward to getting to know you soon! |
We currently have several Bible Study Groups and a Ladies Book Discussion/Fellowship available to all women interested in sharing God’s Word and truth with each other weekly. We always enjoy great fellowship with one another at bridal or baby showers at the church when the time comes, too! We invite all ladies to get involved with one another and attend a few of the women’s ministry opportunities available to them. For more information, please contact the church office.
