FCC Orphan Ministry
| In recent years a growing burden has developed among several members of FCC for the needs of orphans and a desire to personally foster/adopt a child or children into their home. This burden has grown from an appreciation of God’s heart and attention to orphans that is spoken of throughout the Scriptures. As these individuals have become more knowledgeable of the needs, the conviction has expanded to include the desire for FCC to be actively involved in an orphan’s ministry.
These individuals have committed themselves to research the feasibility, resources available, and resources necessary for developing an orphan ministry at FCC. It is the hope that this ministry will develop awareness, compassion, and conviction to minister to orphans as much as they would widows, the homeless, or any other needy This overview seeks to generally describe the initial thoughts and objectives associated with this idea.
